It has always been puzzling for me that men have
to pee next to one another at arm's length. Whilst
women have the privacy of an individual cubical.
I certainly feel awkward when the guy next
to me has his pee ricochet out of his urinal and onto
myself. Besides I have to pretend everything's normal
and that his assets cannot be seen at the corner of my eye.
Can urinals be placed further apart?
Can't urinals be designed larger, with partitions?
On another note, the relatively new metallic benches you see at
bustops and mrt stations look pretty cool from afar. The second you
sit down, you realise your butt is sliding off it! No matter how much you
try to shift your sitting posture or position, the bench just won't let anything
gel to it. Instead of relieving your tired legs, you now have to use them to support
yourself from slipping off.
Talk about design, babe.
