The buzzing of my handphone aganist my table wouldn't stop.
Jumped out of bed and answered the call.

"Your MC's private or polyclinic?"

"Private."

"There could be some problems."

It appears that trainees attached to work here are not allowed
to seek treatment from private clinics. For whatever reason? I
will find out tmr.

Regulars and staff are allowed to visit private clinics then?
How so? What is the difference of a trainee NSF and a regular?
(Let's put aside that a NSF is just wasting his fucking time
day in and out, earning a measly sum of money.)

NSFs love to chaokeng, thus the stupid protocol?
Come on, why not just implement rules that every single NSF be
required to report back to camp even if you're dying.

Im sure there are a million dumbcrap things that we are just
forced to perform without logic and question.
Everyday we've to empty our pockets and put the stuff through the xray
machine. I don't see the logic that people have to scan their handphones
and wallets every break and meal time.

I've seen people dumping coins into the tray and sending it to be scanned.
Are we just going through the motion? We don't give a fuck? What is it?
Usually(at another camp) they place their handphones and wallets OUTSIDE the xray machine
and walk through the metal detector.

There was a point in my life when I was grateful for national service.
Yes it is my duty to serve and protect my country, but somehow that
flame has diminished and will soon be extinguished. What will going back
to regimentation be like?

To be honest, when those people in power make speeches to motivate people
to help the poor, lend a helping hand and what not; Why not just pledge
some amount of your already outrageous salary to them? Your bloody salary
can do a billions wonders before waiting for our $5, $10 and $50 contributions.

But probably you'd spend the money on a new set of golf clubs or let your daughter
spend the money and grow up to be a spoilt elitist bitch. So, stop sucking the country dry LAR.

Routine Order.

Why is the colour red, red?
Why isn't it called green instead?
Why are the cars we drive so fugly?
Every design from each preceeding model would probably
look 90% similar or modified from another carmaker's design.

Why do people despise one another?
How is it that drinking red wine is defined as being classy?
Would you admit that you'll prefer your favorite soft drink
over red wine anytime?

Obviously not.

What is the point of this day to day shit; of getting to work
on time only to yearn to leave the very next second?

There are many things to look forward to, but nothing of
great importance. Am I a shallow person? My mind seems to be
dwindling as I don on the greens of the nation.

Life has no meaning, when its already too late.
Our hearts have hardened and taken everything we so
fortunately have for granted.

Sometimes, I wonder what my parents feel.
Its the same old shit every single day. Plus
they have ungrateful kids to add up the spice at some
point in their lives by smashing up the car.

How is it life is able to go on?

I'd love to do a story on a chicken rice stall
in future. What would his story be?
What does it feel to repeat "Shao ji, bai ji?"
a million times?
I want to take his picture.
