I was at Borders the other day and this sudden
ripping of plastic tore through the silence.
Everyone turned to look.
There sat this grotesquely humongous Ang Moh
lady shredding the plastic wrapping off this huge
book on her lap!!!
She even had the audacity to give a fucked up shake
of her head when she realised everyone was glowering
at her fat fingers.
After that, she just tossed the wrappers to the carpet
floor.
I wish I had the courage to tell her off, but I was browsing
some books(without wrappers).. Are you allowed to
browse anyways?

Been checking the podcasts at Mrbrown's
lately, I must say they are pretty darn
good.
And the final countdown has begun. Five
days to the actual start of a chance at
changing myself.
When I enter the army, I hope..
- To become an officer (HUH?!)
- To become a pilot(maybe should buy 4D)
- To become reliable
- To become a Chunky Munky
- To not contract any form of disease
(especially fungus to the groin area.)
- To be able to sleep with my eyes open
- To invent something faster than the MRT
that gets me home from extreme ends of the country.
- To understand why women join the army
- To understand why they run faster than I do
So they say, any form of entertainment is
essential for survival in the army. Some have ipods
to gameboys. I have neither. Will a book suffice?
Probably I'd be too tired to do any reading.
Am I whining too much about the army?
Every single fella who screams "ORD LO!!!!!"
into my face tells me "not to worry", "its fun",
without answering any of my doubts, makes me
just a tad more "excited". hahaha
