Nothing left but shadows.

If you were to believe in something or someone
omnipresent, omnipotent and has all say in everything
that were, that are and will be; that gave you life,
that created the world and everything in it - would you
not give everything in return?

Then how is it that one can say "I am a believer, but not
a devout one." I take it you are not. If believing in something
has no difference in one's life, then don't. For you are tarnishing
the name of those sincere and true.

For men's nature is greed. All lust for the one ring to rule them all.
eh? sorry wrong story liao.
How is it that leaders of various groups drive big cars, glittering
in the sunlight as they cruise past? Is this not hypocrisy?

If you were to believe in something, you will be an ambassador
for that, whether you like it or not. People will judge
you and relate to the others like you.

For example,
The recent JC student's ramblings on the net has caused a
stir, saying Poly students are plain stupid for they cannot
even meet the criteria to enter JC. Saying Poly students
reacting in anger because it is true.

This JC student is disgracing his fellow students, for his
shallow thoughts. I applaud him for his courage to voice it out
though. I sincerely wish that he would be the only JC student
in his bunk.

Steal his underwear and throw away man.

There was this uncle, perhaps around 60 that
strolled into the room that day. He told me
that his parents died when he was young and became
the sole breadwinner.

He has a younger brother and sister.

What little money he made, he put to good us - Sending
his siblings to school. Now, both of them are married,
with kids and doing well.

In his words, "They are heartless. I paid for their studies,
yet now they are doing well? They kick me out of the door!"

Living by himself, earning barely less than $800 a month, his
right eye is going blind. A cloudy flim overlays his
pupil - cataract? He says an operation would set him back thousands,
how would he afford it? Go to his siblings?

A Lady walked in with a huge plastic bag with her.
Aged 52. The same age as my mother. She used to
be working at singtel and according to her, drawing
a salary of $3k at least; till she fell into depression.

Everything was lost in that moment. Forced to retire,
condition worsened, entered woodbridge. Now, she can only
wash cars and wipe tables for a living. Scouring to make
ends meet, she met this person from those MLM companies.

She had to buy the products before selling them and were
allowed to return them if she couldnt sell. They lied.
She walks around with $5k worth of health products in her
bag.

During our conversation, she starts weeping.

She turned to her ex colleagues at Singtel. They promised they
would buy some products from her. She paid for a new batch of
products and brings them down, only to hear..
"Why you bring down? i said i will call you right? you want me
to bring home ah! so heavy! "

They were only a few small bottles.
What could she do?
She ate the products herself.
Who could she blame?
Who can she turn to?
