You take fire in one hand and water in another, place them together.
They coexist.
I dont channel hop anymore. Its nat geo most of the time for me now. I keep wondering how the videographers do their thing.
From the simple, filming Jeff corwin zooming past on a boat or whadeva (The cameraman has another boat? or they pick him up after a round about?)
To the intricate filming of trailing a frog diving into the depths of the murky river. (How is it none of the aquatic life is disturbed by the cameraman? How can he film stuff knowing crocs are around? )
How is it they are able to film the inside of an ant's nest?
Is there a documentary on the people who did it? haha
I am kinda eyeing the Young photog Award. But I havent even printed any digital photos before. That's because I think none of the stuff I take is actually worth printing. hahah Ok heck man, I need to find a wholeeee day and go out and shoot something.

Words are as wildfire. Colour is, an excuse. Divides are, destructive. Are we so blind to see?
Well, this wasnt a very good attempt. I have been trying to figure out why my pictures arent as sharp as they are supposed to be.
I though it was the cheapo filter i had. Turns out its not. So far, I can only suspect eh custom curve my camera applies to every picture. I hope that is the culprit. Sigh.
I am really bored. Blogging almost everyday. argh.

Green peas we are. Of shapes and sizes. Yet, green peas we cannot deny. How is it that one green pea has set itself from the rest? Are we not all, green?
Had my first experience of scaling a rock wall today. I must say, I've really underestimated that wall i've walked past so often these three years.
My arms melted and whined like a wuss each time i tried to pull myself up. Fumbling like a professional, I gave up trying. The girls kicked butt.
They swung from rock to rock, skip, hop and a smile.
Whoa.
Dumbfounded.
Mindyourbody I read this in the Mindyourbody paper;
"Mr Bey Kok Cheng was paralysed from the chest down after a motrocycle accident ............ His condition is the result of a life-changing motor cycle accident in April 1996, on the eve of his final year examinations at Singapore Polytechnic. On the way home, he turned a corner and hit his front wheel on the kerb. He was thrown backwards, and his spine was snapped in two."
"If there's one thing I will tell young people, it is not to ride a motorbike! Eight out of ten people in wheelchairs are motorbike accident victims....."
My, my. I used to be crazy over motorbikes.

My first try at still life. Someone posted the idea on the forum and needless to say, my take's a far far cry from it. haha Nevertheless, I shall try again.
Its been weird these days, having too much time to kill can be taxing. Not that I'd rather be back in school. I've been having dreams of sitting for exams without actually knowing what the subject actually is.
I jump outta bed with my heart in my mouth.
Why do most things sinful usually taste, feel and look so good? Take coke for example, okay you might hate it, but its everywhere! I dont know about you, but i've heard pretty nasty things about it.
What about fried stuff? Anything fried is heavenly.
I dont know man.

Joy & jubilation.
We threw a birthday party for my grandma last night. Although her body's really weak, her mind is still in pretty good shape. My aunt asked her for her age.
"ah.. 89 lor."
She used to babysit me when i was young. I still remember the vivid images of her dumping milk powder into the bottle. I'd say, I wasnt the best behaved child in the neighbourhood.
I have this intention in my mind to document a week of my grandma's life. Although she lies in bed most of the time now, I'd try my best to make smth work. I need practice!
